My Autumn Tea Recipe

Fall is here! No matter how much I enjoy sunshine, warm days and blue skies of the summer months – autumn has a special magic to it!

Fall Decor

We swapped out our spring/summer door wreath with our fall wreath to kick off the new season. Tristan is super excited because we decorated our front porch with a pumpkin for the very first time.

The weather is still a bit warm here, but the mornings are cooler. I like to watch the leaves drifting in the wind as they fall off the trees. Especially enjoying the occasional cool breeze that accompanies it.

Since this is now officially the season for warm, or spiced up drinks, I decided to give my sweet tea recipe a special fall twist.

If you want to make this delicious Autumn Tea at home, then check out my recipe below. It’s bound to put a spell on your family and friends’ taste buds!

My Autumn Tea Recipe:

4 Black tea bags

1 Cinnamon stick

3 Cloves

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup of ice

2 cups boiling water

2 cups cold water

Boil 2 cups of water, remove from heat. Steep tea bags along with cinnamon stick and cloves for 5 minutes. Remove bags and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove the cinnamon and cloves. Add 1 cup of ice to a 1 liter bottle. Pour the tea next. Then add the cold water. Stir until the ice melts.

To serve – you can pour it over ice, or warm it up for a hot drink. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if you’re feeling super festive!

Check out my Autumn Tea Insta Reel to see how I make mine at home.

Tip: Keep the bottle of tea refrigerated (I suggest nothing longer than a couple of days in the refrigerator.) Although my family goes through a 1 Liter bottle typically in just one a day!
