Garmin Vivofit 3 Activity Tracker

Garmin Vivofit 3 review

If you have been keeping up with our social media pages you would know that we got ourselves the Garmin Vivofit 3 for Valentines Day.

Instead of flowers and chocolate this year we decided to try our hands at health and wellness. We did however jump start that decision by getting Chinese for our Valentines dinner.

Daily Wear

There are many features about the Garmin Vivofit 3 and you can research them all day but I’m going to tell you why we chose them as the best option for us.

The Vivofit 3 looks and feels great for 24/7 use, and with a 365 days battery life there is no need to remove it. Also, it is waterproof up to 50 meters which is a huge deal for us from showers, to pools, to oceans during our travels and at home it still works.

Getting Your Steps

First of all, the step goal feature in the Vivofit 3 is very active, it learns your step count and gradually increases your goal to challenge you to move more.

Speaking of moving, if you are inactive for an hour a red bar will appear on the screen along with a beep. The bar grows every fifteen minutes after that until you walk for a couple of minutes to reset it.

The twist lock clasp on the band also works very well for us. I used another tracker prior to this and the band kept popping off, not the case with this Garmin Vivofit 3.

Mobile Device Features

The app is also great, it shows all of the data for your steps, calories, sleep and much more. We use the connection feature to challenge each other which makes our days fun. It’s more like a friendly game we play while at work and it also helps us walk more often as we try to get the higher step count.

In addition, the sleep tracking is another interesting feature for us. We have never kept a tab on our sleep before. Sleep is important for health reasons also and now we can be more diligent and try to get more of it.

Why We Love This Garmin Activity Tracker

The Vivofit 3 also keeps us on track with a busy life of family, work, activities, events, and travels as it always show the time on the display.

Garmin makes various styles of activity trackers and you will be sure to find one that fits your needs. So we are very happy with our decision on the Garmin Vivofit 3 and look forward to our health and wellness goals for this year.

By the way, I called customer service for some assistance with the friend connection feature that I just did not understand and Craig was very polite and helpful, customer service is great.
