Summer officially kicked off last week and I’m making it all about the glow.
With long days of sunshine and beautiful weather, I naturally want to use my makeup to match the bright mood summer invokes.
I’ve partnered again with Honest Beauty to share with you the products I’m using this season for some summer fun!
Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser
First off, I always make sure I clean my skin so that it’s free of oils and dirt trapped on my face. Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser is really good to use at the end of the day and even in the morning.
You will not believe how much grime your face collects while you’re asleep!
Even Brighter Everyday Moisturizer
The weather may not be bitter cold in the summer, but the hot sun can easily dry and crack your skin as if it were 10 degrees outside.
I keep my skin moisturized throughout the day with Even Brighter Everyday Moisturizer. I apply a dime size amount on my face before I start my makeup.
You can also use this later in the day if needed.
Everything Primer
Meet your new best friend! Primer is so good to use if you want your makeup to last longer throughout the day. Everything Primer has a tinted but subtle glow and sometimes I’ll just wear it on my face if I don’t feel like wearing a full face of makeup.
I wore only this and their Truly Kissable Lip Crayon during the day when we were in the Caribbean.
Truly Kissable Lip Crayon
I love wearing this! The Truly Kissable Lip Crayon is light, non-greasy and the perfect pop of color. It has jojoba seed oil, murumuru butter and shea butter to keep your lips moisturized in the harsh sun.
It also comes in an array of fun colors. It’s like candy for your lips! Sheer Raspberry Kiss and Melon Kiss re my ultimate favorites.
Everything Cream Foundation
After applying their primer, I use Everything Cream Foundation in Java.
I love how well it blends with my skin tone to achieve a natural look. It comes in 8 shades and infused with moisturizing vitamin E and jojoba oil.
Spotlight + Strobe Kit
Remember when I said primer is your new best friend? Well their Spotlight + Strobe Kit is going to be your BFF!
This is my first time using highlighting on my face and it will not be my last!
It’s super easy to use. After applying your foundation, use your fingers to sweep the cream across your cheekbones, brow bones and other spots on your face that often give a shimmering look in the sun.
Dust the luminizing powder all over your face or on the spots you want to highlight and you will glow instantly!
Eyeshadow Trio and True Velvet Eye Liner
For a cute, summer look, use their Eyeshadow Trio in Soft Sand and pair it with True Velvet Eye Liner in Truly Black or Truly Gold. It all depends on how dramatic you want it.
You will not go wrong either way and the staying power is amazing!
