Hotel Zero 1 is situated at a perfect place in Montreal. We wanted a hotel with free WiFi and breakfast buffet (like we always search for in a hotel) along with access to public transportation – this hotel was PERFECT!
It’s a boutique hotel but at an affordable price and with Old Montreal within a 10 minute walk, this is the ideal hotel for tourists.
A daily breakfast is included in your stay at their restaurant. We looked forward every morning to their mouth-watering muffins and pastries. I also ordered scrambled eggs (that was not on the buffet so it was about a $2 charge but I really wanted eggs!).
The rooms were spacious, clean, well stocked with tea and coffee which my husband loved! There is also a microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Free WiFi is available in every room and in the lobby. The staff is multilingual, friendly and knowledgeable about things to do and how to get around Montreal. If you need to lock up your valuables you can ask to use a safe (free of charge) so your things will be secure while you are out exploring Montreal.
If you are a fan of jazz and want to attend Montreal’s International Jazz Festival, it is held within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel or you can stand on the panoramic terrace and enjoy the music.
Chinatown is directly across the street and there is a bus stop next to the hotel which is a major bonus for travelers who depend on public transportation on their trips.
You can easily get to the metro stations too. Hotel Zero 1 is on the 747 Montreal Airport Bus route that goes to and from the hotel to the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. If you stay at Hotel Zero 1, it will save you a lot of money on airport pick up/drop off.
