Don’t let the summer heat beat your sightseeing ambitions!
Honest Beauty has a winning line of cosmetics and face products that will help you put your best face forward while travelling in the summer heat. I was given the opportunity to test out their Everything Primer, Cream Blush in “Truly Thrilling”, Daily Beauty Fluid, Blotting sheets, gel cleanser, Soft Sand Eye Trio and Cream Foundation (I chose the color Java).
I’ve tried their products before and I was not disappointed! I start off by using the Beyond Protected Daily Beauty Fluid with SPF 30 sunscreen, wait for it to dry, then apply the Everything Primer Luminous Base and boy is it luminous (in a good way!) It’s a beautiful translucent-like liquid gold color that gives your face a natural glow in just the right places.
Next, I use the Cream Foundation which literally has lasted on my face for an entire day in combination with the use of the Everything Primer. I was very surprised, especially because it gets so hot and humid in the south! Lastly, I use the eyeshadow, cream blush and then the lip crayon follows.
Their lip crayons are very good at keeping your lips hydrated. My favorite Truly Kissable Lip Crayon color by far is Raspberry (the one in the middle) their lip crayons go on smooth like butter!
If you’re on the go and you need a refresher, use their Magic Balm on sun dried areas of your skin or try their Elevated Hydrated Refreshing Mist for a nice way to cool down from the heat. I really like to use it on days I opt out on makeup but you could use it over your makeup as well. I use their Gel Cleanser at the end of the day to give my face a good clean and it has never left my skin dried out.
Honest Beauty is a line of skincare products and makeup founded by The Honest Company’s Jessica Alba. The products feature natural ingredients that are safe and effective for everyday use.
