Lonely Planet Magazine’s Fall 2016 Issue

It’s a new season which can only mean one thing: a new issue of Lonely Planet Magazine! The fall issue is out now and it is packed with vacation tips and destination highlights including a wine exploration through Georgia’s 8,000 year old wine region.

Lonely Planet Fall Issue 3

Recently the travel restrictions to Cuba eased, allowing many travelers to visit as a tourist. This issue highlights vibrant Cuba through a photo diary well worth the look for inspiration. Take a ‘Great Escape’ into the heart of Spain featuring a journey through central Spain making stops in Madrid, Toledo, Consuegra, Mérida and Salamanca.

Lonely Planet Fall Issue 4

This issue also features a list of ’25 Travel Secrets’ contributed by a network of travel experts from around the world. They offer their advice on places such as Cambodia’s southern islands and California’s Lost Sierra. Cuba has quickly become a hot spot for travel but have you ever considered Lapland, Finland or St. Louis, Missouri? These two destinations along with three others make up ‘5 Spots to Talk About Right Now’, a list of places chosen by Lonely Planet editors that are on their radar this season.

Lonely Planet Fall Issue 2If you need some inspiration or a guide to direct you to the best getaways this fall, ‘Easy Trips’ is back with destinations fit for every style of travel. Las Vegas is known for being expensive, but did you know you could still have a great time without emptying your wallet? This feature is inspired by Lonely Planet’s new book, The Best Things in Life are Free. I’d tell you how to have an epic time in Vegas for free, but I’ll let you read this issue!

Lonely Planet Fall Issue 5

In November 2015, Lonely Planet launched their quarterly magazine in the U.S. You can pick up a copy for $5.99 at many retailers including Barnes & Noble, Hudson Booksellers and Whole Foods Market. A digital version is available for Kindle, iPad and Nook for the same price or you can get a 1 year subscription for $8 – don’t miss out!

This post was kindly sponsored by Lonely Planet, as always my opinions are my own.
