My Spotify Sounds of Summer

Does your taste in music or song preference change with the seasons? Mine does (although sometimes I have a few that can go on repeat all year ahem, Britney and Selena.)

I love listening to Spotify because I can create playlists for any time of the year or occasion. I also love that I can listen for free with the occasional ad.

With summer set into high gear, I’ve created a Sounds of Summer playlist that I like to listen to on my commute to and from work.

Playlists are also a great idea because it can stop you from looking through your phone for music while driving. If your playlist is set up with your ultimate faves then you shouldn’t have to touch a thing!

Pop Music

In case you didn’t know – I am a long time fan of Britney Spears, so there are quite a few songs on my summer playlist from her latest album, Glory.

If you haven’t listened to it yet, check it out!

Selena Gomez is also another favorite of mine along with Shakira. Have you seen her video for “Me Enamoré“? It’s so fun and a great way to learn Spanish!

Plus, her music always makes me want to dance.

New Artists on Spotify

I love that Spotify has opportunities to discover new artists.

I heard an amazing instrumental created for a Pretty Little Liars promo for their final season by Mona Najib. I found out that she has a song on Spotify called “Limbo”. It is beautiful!

She is really talented and if I had to recommend only one song to play from my playlist, “Limbo” is definitely the winner.

My playlist is a mix of new and old music. Coldplay is a great example of old and new music that are timeless to me.

What is your favorite song this summer? Comment below and share this post with your friends!
