Fall is my favorite season of the year. The beautiful fall foliage, crisp air, warm drinks and comfort food are several reasons why fall makes me smile.

Fall Weather Clothes
If you live in the South like we do, then it may not feel like fall until later in the season and instead, battling the summer temps. For those who are lucky enough to get a head start on the season, it’s time to bring out those light jackets, long sleeves and boots!
My go-to boots were on sale at Kohl’s one year, but they unfortunately wore out in the soles so I had to replace them earlier this year before our trip to Ireland. We will see how these hold up over fall and winter.
A Camera
It doesn’t matter if it’s your smart phone or a DSLR – take lots of photos on your trip! Making memories are great, but it’s so cool to swipe through trip photos and reminisce the memories you made on the trip.
I call it “arm chair travel” lol

Reliable Toothbrush
A toothbrush should be one of the first things on your list of things to take on your travels no matter the season. Hygiene is important!
